Bettina started her career in publishing as a bookseller in Germany. She then worked for eight years as the foreign rights director at Carl Hanser Verlag in Munich before moving to New York in 1995 to start Bettina Schrewe Literary Scouting. Bettina is a jury member of New Books in German. When not reading. Bettina enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and traveling.

Amy heads up the children’s/ YA scouting at Bettina Schrewe Literary Scouting, where she has worked since 2007. Her first foray into publishing was an internship at Scholastic when she in high school. Amy graduated from Wheaton College (Massachusetts) with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Environmental Studies.

Alexandra joined Bettina Schrewe Literary Scouting in 2021. Previously, she worked at Mary Anne Thompson Associates and ICM Partners, and interned at Writers House. Alexandra also has extensive experience in the nonprofit and marketing industries. She graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a double major in government and gender studies.

Taylor joined Bettina Schrewe Literary Scouting in 2023 after moving to New York from Louisiana. She worked as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble and graduated from the Columbia Publishing Course at Oxford University in 2022. She received her B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in History from Louisiana State University in 2021.
